  • Tracking the try out program of the assigned projects, keeping close communication with related departments and suppliers contacts. 
  • Release tools and process at suppliers (tool shops) and HAM facilities, using the department related documents according the quality system and current regulations.
  • Identify process weaknesses and develop process methods, materials, training, and equipment modifications to obtain improvements in HAM or in supplier sites.
  • Opportunely Identify, validate and define needs for the new Injection molding tools to assure the successful first try outs on HAM Sites.
  • Sampling of new tools and materials according the project plan. Sampling/Setting up for new products.
  • Participate and lead trials and experimentation (DOE) for the development of new products, processes, cost reduction and implementation of new equipment or processes.
  • Training of the HAM development TOC engineers, and production technician personnel on the new tooling and new injection molding technology.
  • Involvement in and/or implementation of defined escalation scenarios whenever deviations from targets occurs.
  • Develops standards, documents, injection / tools troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives that drive positive change in the plant.
  • Involvement in and/or implementation of defined escalation scenarios whenever deviations from targets occurs.
  • Interacts with other plants/functions to share best practices on process standards and equipment improvements.
  • Collaborating and contributing in global and regional networks and team structures (e.g. as part of a technology network).
  • Involvement on product design phase meetings during new product development to ensure economical and defect free manufacture.
  • Active involvement on the project team meetings for the tool and process related topics (costing, feasibility analysis, scheduling etc.).
  • Provide the specific information for the construction and building of removal grippers.
  • Making suggestions and provide alternative solutions to improve the used processes and working methods in site or suppliers facilities.


  • Domain of English Language.

  • Solid knowledge in engineering plastic injection processes and troubleshooting in all its phases, in an analytic and methodic way.

  • High practical experience in setting up and operating of molding press.

  • Desirable knowledge of the Scientific Molding Method.

  • Experience in the interpretation of Molding Simulation (Moldflow) in order to provide conclusive analysis reports and recommendations.

  • Working knowledge of robotics and automation related to the injection molding process.

  • Ability to coach and train with strong leadership, and communication skills.

  • Office suite software skills to create and present professional reports.

  • Ability to proactively work through activities with limited supervision, driving direction as required.

  • Ability to communicate on a proper and clear technical level.

  • Knowledge of machining process (milling, gun drill, EDM, and soon).

  • Solid knowledge of steels used to make tools form injection molding.
