Agreeing and following up targets with the Project Manager or the Operations Readiness Manager in terms of quality, costs and timing and taking existing processes and methods into consideration;
Steering and executing in the development of production methods taking the market development for production systems into account and check new systems for their suitability and applicability as set by Hella specific constrains and legal requirements;
Plan new manufacturing sequences and operating equipment with the help of existing manufacturing processes, taking knowledge from the field of work science, production engineering and economics into account, as well as guidelines and standards. Use digitization to increase efficiency and robustness (e.g. MES, Hydra, iTAC)
Involvement in internal and external pre-series audits in production and quality assurance
Involvement in and/or implementation of defined escalation scenarios whenever deviations from targets occur in manufacturing engineering; showing existing alternative solutions
Involvement in change management (EOP control, costing, feasibility analysis, scheduling etc.)
Lead technical projects teams according to the Hella PEP resp. PMH regulations
Responsibility for the monitoring of the used technologies, processes and production equipment in the running production as well as suggestion and implementation of improvement / cost reduction action (continuous improvement) with the target to reach the relevant performance KPIs
Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks
Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks
Participating in hiring process and responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands
Previous experience in a similar position within a company active in automotive or electronics industry
Technical University degree is mandatory
Very good command of English, German knowledge represents a significant advantage
Self-confident and responsible
