Hardware Technical Expert Manager (Job Code: 1016)
Responsible for designing and developing automotive electronics from concept-to-production; develop the Hardware Architecture Design and associated documentation; provide hardware technical expertise to development team; analyze and resolve hardware electronics issues and support escalation topics; create schematics and PCB layout requirements; analyze hardware requirements elicitation with customers and the system engineering team to ensure optimal quality and customer satisfaction; perform circuit simulations and calculations to support the hardware design; serve as the point-of-contact to the customer and to the project manager regarding the hardware design; participate in kick-off meetings, hardware team meetings, and project team meetings as the representative for the hardware project; participate within internal CCB (Change Control Board) meetings; approve design changes through proper configuration management; perform risk analysis and implement associated control measures; develop, review and approve work products of the hardware design and create and publish hardware reports; use Mathcad, OrCAD Pspice, LT-spice, Cadence Capture CIS, Power Integrity, PTC Integrity, MPLAB, Doors, Agile Methodology, VALUE CAN, ASPICE and Tina-Pro to complete tasks and duties; develop and review the hardware WCCA and DFMEA with customers and internal peers; coordinate schematic, PCB layout, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and manufacturing design reviews; and provide design support for a formal Hardware Development Process.

Salary: $130,000 per year;
Education: Bachelors –Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Lead Design Engineer, as a Project Manager Systems Analyst, as an Assistant Project Manager, as a Technical Staff Member, as a Design and Development Engineer, as a Research and Development Engineer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Must have five (5) years experience with all of the following: Mathcad, OrCAD Pspice, LT-spice, Cadence Capture CIS, Power Integrity, PTC Integrity, MPLAB, Doors, Agile Methodology, VALUE CAN, ASPICE and Tina-Pro.
