YOUR TASKS

In the Electronics Business Division, you will be responsible for the hardware design and development of automotive power electronic modules.

Additional tasks include:

  • Design power electronics products including DC/DC convertors and AC/DC rectifiers
  • Review customer specifications and design hardware to meet requirements.
  • Design for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements.
  • Perform circuit simulations and worst case circuit analysis (WCCA) to support the hardware design.
  • Develop test plans, test electronic modules, and create test reports.
  • Analyze test data and provide design change recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware related issues.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for schematics, bill of materials, hardware software specification, and DFEMA.
  • Work with system and software engineering teams.
  • Design to a formal Hardware Development Process.
  • Change and configuration management for the hardware project.
  • Follow program timing and deliver results according to plan.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Candidate should have strong fundamental electrical design knowledge.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Hardware design and development experience of 7-10 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • High voltage design experience
  • Experienced with Mathcad
  • Experienced with schematic capture
  • Experienced with DOORS
  • Printed circuit board layout design
  • Basic EMC understanding
