Account Manager – Electronics Special OE

YOUR TASKS

In the Aftermarket Parts business division, you will be responsible for sales of complex electric/electronic products to commercial and off highway OEMs or system suppliers in USA.

Additional tasks include:

  • Prepare business development plans for customers and products and follow through
  • Extend customer portfolio for Hella’s E/E product portfolio
  • Develop marketing concepts for the introduction of new products in your market, considering the required segment specific approach
  • Work on customer quotation requests and other customer enquiries regarding technical and commercial aspects
  • Define and align technical and commercial strategy for customer quotations. Preparation and negotiation of offers to customers
  • Manage commercial aspects of development projects from award to start of production
  • Prepare customer presentations and workshops, consultation with technical and commercial customer contacts
  • Work in the Hella Electronics network, be interface to the global Product Management team
  • Support the local sales team with expert electronic knowledge

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, ideally Electronics Engineering
  • Experience of selling technical (electronics) products in the automotive or special vehicle industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of methods and processes of modern Key Account Management and automotive development processes
  • Prepared to travel extensively
  • Language skills (German, French, Spanish) welcome, but not required
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Have an established business relationship with customers
  • Ability to work effectively as an independent unit without day to day supervision.
  • Ability to work with a global team consisting of engineering as well as commercial staff members.
  • The ability to communicate directly with technical and administrative staff at all levels within the regional Hella Group
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • A successful electronics technology background is highly desirable.
  • Have product knowledge with vehicle electronics
  • The ability to analyze and manage customer specifications and tenders is essential.
